DESCRIPTION: This artistic card celebrates the centennial of the birth and life of Swedish author, poet, and composer, Dan Andersson, who died at the young age of 32 in Stockholm Sweden.  Andersson’s poetry enjoys a broad popularity among the Swedish people because of its naturalist mysticism and searching for God.  On the back, at the bottom, is a brief verse titled “Om Aftonen” and which translates to, “It was in the evening that summer flew straight into my arms, and I smiled as in my spade childhood…”
CONDITION: Used; mailed – 1988 from Sweden. Minor corner and edge wear. Soiling and age tanning. Good to Very Good condition.
