  • Condition: Very good to excellent 70+ year condition - metal tin paint is bright and true - painted - no paper label. All print is excellent - no dings or dents. Very slight top and bottom rust - tin is almost full. The top shaker/slider works perfectly. In overall excellent antique condition. This tin has been in dry storage, away from sunlight and handling, for at least 35 years. See photos for the best description.

    This is an
    Antique 1950's DURKEE'S RED PEPPER, ELMHURST, N.Y. - 1 1/2 OZ. NET Spice Tin  - with Durkee's "old style" printing - in excellent overall 70+ year condition.  It measures 2 1/2" Tall x 2" Wide - it is close to full.
    It has long been in storage, away from sunlight and handling - it was purchased new back in the 50's.  Its now antique and still in superior overall condition. The paint is bright and true - tin has no paper label with a tiny dent and a paint ding and a bit of surface rust on the bottom corner - noted here for the record. This tin is very sturdy, and  the shaker top slide with pour holes works perfectly.
