Hardanger is a traditional district in the western part of Norway, dominated by the Hardangerfjord and its inner branches of the Sorfjorden and the Eid Fjord. A fjord is a narrow inlet of the sea between cliffs or steep slopes. The area is 2,419 miles; population 22,810 (2009). The approximate 4 x 5 3/4 inch card is in good condition, scratch & dings, aging on the back, with wear on the scalloped corners.
